Unlike Lima and Nasca, these houses have roofs, of sorts.

Our main purpose, in Puno, is to acclimatise, ready for the Inca Trail on Day 10. At 3860m, it seemed an ideal place to get used to the high altitude living gently. It was still a bit of a shock to the system. Still, there is much to see here.
