The Peru Trip

Back in Cusco for the last day, we couldn't leave without seeing some of the finest stonework anywhere. In a rare acknowledgement of Inca engineering brilliance, the Spanish built Qoricancha upon the foundations of a destroyed Inca temple.
The contrast is stark. - The beautifully curved dark stone is original Inca. No-one knows what the rest of the temple looked like.
